The Otley Town Centre Races are one of the most prestigious criteriums in the calendar, with past winners including Mark Cavendish, Jeremy Hunt, Jonny Clay, Chris Walker, Russ Downing, Tom Pidcock and local stars Scott Thwaites and Robyn Clay. Otley's own World Champion Lizzie Deignan (Armitstead) won the women's event in 2014, and is now Race Organiser.
